Former world 800m champion, Caster Semenya, has turned to coach Maria Mutola to help her win Olympic gold in London next year. Semenya, who won gold at the Berlin World Championships in 2009 (pictured), left her previous coach Michael Seme shortly after winning silver at the 2011 event in Daegu.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Mexican forward sensation Javier Hernandez has signed a new five-year deal at the club, keeping him at Old Trafford until the 2015-16 season in a deal that will pay the youngster £23. 5 million if the contract is seen out in its entirety.
