Sir Alex Ferguson will welcome Dimitar Berbatov back when the Bulgarian returns to Old Trafford as Fulham’s leading man this weekend.   Manchester United have already defeated Fulham at home in the Premier League at the start of the season, but that was before the mercurial Berbatov made his move to West London.

Dimitar Berbatov has completed his transfer from Manchester United to Fulham for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year contract at Craven Cottage.   Statements issued on both Fulham’s official website[http://www. fulhamfc. com/news/2012/august/31/berbatov-signs-for-fulham] and Manchester United’s official website[http://www. manutd. com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2012/Aug/dimitar-berbatov-manchester-united-to-fulham. aspx] confirm the transfer, after some initial confusion earlier today.

Tottenham Hotspur could be planning to hijack Fulham’s deal for Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov.   Fulham manager Martin Jol appeared jubilant after seemingly securing a deal for the Bulgarian yesterday, a deal which included it’s own twists, after it transpired that Berbatov had ditched advances from Fiorentina and Juventus to sign at Craven Cottage.

Juventus will launch a bid for Arsenal’s wantaway forward Nicklas Bendtner, after Manchester United’s Dimitar Berbatov reportedly snubbed the Italian giants in favour of a move to Fulham.   The Serie A champions have seen a number of attempts to sign some of Europe’s best striking options dismissed this summer.
