Manchester City's controversial striker Carlos Tevez has emerged as a shock target for Liverpool who are hoping to land the player on a short term loan deal. Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has seen his side criticised in recent weeks for failing to find the target despite carving out numerous opportunities.

According the Daily Mail, Craig Bellamy rejected an approach from Tottenham before pledging his allegiance to Liverpool on transfer deadline day.   The report suggests that Bellamy was another player, alongside Bolton defender Gary Cahill and Chelsea’ Alex, who evaded Harry Redknapp’s grasp as the window closed.

Liverpool striker David N'Gog has completed his deadline day move to Bolton.   The French striker, who joined the club from Paris Saint Germain in 2008, has failed to live up to expectations and following the signings of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez in january, has found his first team opportunities limited.

Liverpool are being linked with a sensational move for Manchester City outcast Craig Bellamy.   The Welshman is available for free, despite still being under contract at Eastlands, however City boss Roberto Mancini has made it public that Bellamy doesn't feature in his plans this season.
