Three more celebrities to contest the "best celebrity I bumped into this month" award, after last month's stunning trio of Louis Theroux, DJ Steve Wright and GMTV's Dr Hilary Jones. May's thrilling threesome, I reckon, is a notch up from that lot. So, first up, I present Capital Radio DJ Johnny Vaughan, who almost spilled his latte over me when we averted a near collision in Leicester Square. That same day I held the door open for "Atonement" and "Last King of Scotland" star James McAvoy, when I was entering and he was leaving our mutual agents,United Agents, in Soho. Incidentally, he is very small and slight! Then, just yesterday, I sat opposite the BBC News Reader, Huw Edwards, on the Circle Line on London's Underground. Good to see the BBC are being a little more thrifty these days.
So, who is this month's winner? I will leave it to you, but as a hint, it's not someone you hear more than you see these days, nor someone who's Welsh accent is so prominent it is as if he is taking the mickey out of the Welsh, but a bloke who somehow managed to escape being hung up by hooks inUganda, and trotted around Narnia on hooves!!
