Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield will be aiming to continue the encouraging start to their partnership when they take to the board this evening in Sheffield for the Diving World Series event.
Having bagged bronze in their first international outing in Beijing last month, they will be hoping to put in another good showing when the 10 metre synchronised event gets underway.
Daley, the World and Commonwealth individual champion was very hopeful whilst speaking to the BBC.
"We're improving all the time, definitely," he said. "Diving in front of a sell-out home crowd will be amazing."
"There are a lot of people who could win this event. There's the Chinese and the Russians, the Australians and Americans. All of them are potential winners."
As a pairing, 30 year-old Waterfield and 16 year-old Daley are obviously improving all the time. The former, who won a silver medal alongside Leon Taylor at the 2004 Athens Olympics, also added his sentiments regarding the progress being made.
"Leon and I had been diving together for 10 years before Athens," he explained, "so this is a much younger partnership."
"Tom and I have gelled together very quickly. We're improving every time we train."
