On the 11th February, menswear brand High and Mighty celebrated International Hug a Tall Person Day by offering free hugs around the streets of London.
Hugging has been associated with many health benefits, from reducing stress and increasing happiness through to pain relief, maintaining relationships and improving wellbeing. In honour of this momentous day, High and Mighty celebrated high hugs and happiness all day, by spreading the benefits of cuddles and encouraging the nation to participate.
Hugging someone of great stature can be pretty tricky business (especially for shorter people) and High and Mighty even created special techniques including ‘The Leap of Faith’ and ‘The Elevator’, and there is a hug for every height combination.
High and Mighty’s “Mr High”, who stands at an impressive 7 ft 1”, was out and about on the streets of Central London handing out hugs on International Hug a Tall Person Day, and he helped to make commuters in the Capital a little happier!
