Harrington Within Two Shots of Chopra at Rain-Affected Johor Open

The weather is proving the main adversary at the Iskandar Johor Open, but Ireland’s Padraig Harrington is battling on, completing his second round to move within two shots of the leader Daniel Chopra.

The tournament has been reduced to 54 holes because of the weather with Harrington one of several players forced to return early.

Harrington, Chopra, Gregory Bourdy and James Morrison completed just one hole of their third rounds before they were forced back into the clubhouse.

"It was important to get as close to Daniel,"  Harrington said. "I need to make up ground, because I'm running out of holes.

"I like risk/reward courses. There's plenty of trouble out there, but there are also plenty of birdie and eagle chances. So you've got to roll with it, and I feel very comfortable out there. There are some very tricky holes out there, and also some very good holes."
