Tottenham may have only just announced Andre Villas-Boas as their new manager but already there are suggestions that he will try to sign Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge.
The former Manchester City man certainly flourished under Villas-Boas at Chelsea, only to then fall out of favour with Roberto di Matteo as he struggled to force his way into the first team.
Sturridge has seen both Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou leave the club, but he still faces plenty of competition from the clubs new signings Marko Marin and Eden Hazard.
At just 22-years-old, Sturridge has shown glimpses of the potential he possesses and last season he did manage to score 11 Premier League goals in his 28 league appearances.
Villas-Boas may need to bring a number of new faces to White Hart Lane as the club have already sold Niko Kranjcar, while there is still a growing concern that Luka Modric could be tempted to leave the club.
