Want away Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani dos Santos could have left the club last January and again during the summer with Spurs set to receive £13million, but the midfielder decided to stay.

Speaking with regards to the failed move, Redknapp said: "Gio wanted to move, but we couldn't let him go. We had a £13m offer from Udinese for him.

"It was £10million down and £3m do-able bonuses. A big sell-on. He wouldn't got. He wanted to go to Seville who were offering 3million Euros. You can't blame the chairman for not letting him go."
