Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a surprise move for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin.
According to reports on TalkSport, the 25 year-old has caught the eye of Spurs boss Harry Redknapp after adjusting to life in the Premier League.
Faurlin has impressed for Rangers, despite the newly-promoted side enduring a topsy-turvy start to the current campaign.
The Argentinean joined QPR from Primera B Nacional side Instituto in 2009, for a club-record fee of £3.5 million. However his transfer was shrouded in controversy, after the west London club were found to be guilty of purchasing the midfielder from a third party.
However, should Tottenham pursue their interest in Faurlin, they will have to bid around £11 million for his services, with Rangers' boss Neil Warnock desperate to hold onto one of his star players.
