Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is set to hold crunch talks with chairman Daniel Levy over his future at the club, as he enters the final year of his current contract.
Redknapp has endured a difficult few months, with his trial for tax dodging preceding Spurs' Premier League slump and his being overlooked for the vacant England manager's post.
The Spurs boss was public in his wishes to manage the national side, and as reported by Goal.com, this has strained his relations with Levy and the club's board.
As continued, a Tottenham insider hinted at issues between the pair, with relations fraught following the club's end of season collapse, which ultimately cost them Champions League football.
“There is no doubt that there are some issues between them that need to be resolved,” the source said.
Former West Ham and Portsmouth boss Redknapp is seeking assurances of his position at the club, as he enters the final year of his current deal.
According to Goal, it appears likely that Levy will offer Redknapp a contract extension, but the club's hierarchy need convincing that he is still the best man for the job.
