Tottenham Hotspur are ready to announce Andre Villas-Boas as their new manager after a number of discussions with the former Chelsea boss in the last few days.
Sky Sports believes that Villas-Boas could be announced as the successor to Harry Redknapp within the next 24 hours as Spurs look to push forward now that the transfer window is open.
Villas-Boas has always been the bookmakers favourite and it seems as though he will have the opportunity to return to management in England after a disappointing spell at Chelsea.
The Portuguese manager was sacked by Chelsea in March, but did arrive in England with a big reputation having led Porto to a treble of league title, Portuguese Cup and Europe League triumph.
It appears likely that an announcement will be made on Tuesday as chairman Daniel Levy looks to get a manager in place in time for pre-season training.
Tottenham have also been linked with Laurent Blanc, who left his role as France manager, but it seems as though Villas-Boas will be the man in charge at White Hart Lane next season.
