Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all understood to be tracking the progress of Swansea and Great Britain left back Neil Taylor.
The 22-year-old enjoyed an exceptional start to Premier League life with Swansea last campaign, where he was ever-present in the side that won countless admirers. Taylor has also been an unsung hero in Stuart Pearce’s Team GB, starting and completing every game as the side progressed through the group stage to set up their their quarter final clash with South Korea.
As a result of the marauding full back’s impressive form, Sky Sports report that a host of big clubs are considering making a bid for the Swansea player, including the Premier League runners up Manchester United and London rivals Chelsea and Spurs.
The former Wrexham player came close to joining Newcastle United last summer, before having a change of heart and signing a new long-term deal at the Liberty Stadium. The left back was also linked with a speculative move to Arsenal last January.
Manchester United’s summer interest in Everton defender Leighton Baines suggests that the Red Devils are looking to bring in another left back to compete with Patrice Evra, after 22-year-old fullback Fabio joined Queens Park Rangers on a season long loan.
