Mancini Hoping For Quick Tevez Conclusion

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted he is eager to see the end of the Carlos Tevez transfer saga and hopes a conclusion will be reached soon.

Mancini confirmed reports that Tevez's representative, Kia Joorabchian, has opened talks with Inter Milan and Paris St Germain over a possible move this month.

The Argentina striker, who tried to force through a move away from Eastlands in the summer, has not featured for City since October after he refused to come off the bench against Bayern Munich in a Champions League clash.

Mancini said: "I hope this will finish very quickly. I don't know [the latest].

"I think he has talked with PSG and Inter, but not Milan. I hope for him everything can finish very quickly."

Mancini, speaking at a press conference ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham, added: "It is important for him to start to play, because he is a football player.

"It is now three months that he hasn't played and this is not good for him."

Meanwhile, Mancini also revealed he is hopeful defender Nedum Onouha will make the switch to Queens Park Rangers after City accepted a £3m offer from the Hoops.

The 25-year-old, who spent last season on-loan at Sunderland, has struggled to break into City's first-team and Mancini is eager for him to move so he can play regular football.

"I don't know. They were talking yesterday. Maybe today or tomorrow, it is possible.

"Nedum deserves to play. He is a good guy and if he stays here he will maybe play one or two games. That is not enough for a young player."
