Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Crystal Palace midfield starlet Jon Williams despite the teenager signing a new deal with the Championship club.
According to the People, the Blues have kept a close eye on Williams for the past season and have been monitoring his progress closely.
The 17-year-old signed a new deal with Palace recently but that has not deterred Chelsea, who view him as a future Stamford Bridge star.
His new contract, signed last week, will keep Williams at Selhurst Park until 2015 but Chelsea scouts are reportedly maintaining a close interest in him as they are convinced of his potential.
