Brazilian Star Completes Medical Ahead Of Chelsea Move

Brazilian midfielder Oscar has reportedly completed a medical ahead of a proposed move to Chelsea, but he insists that he is yet to agree a deal with the Blues.

As reported by ESPN, the 20 year-old met up with Chelsea staff ahead of Brazil’s 2-0 Olympic warm-up game with Great Britain yesterday evening.

It is the latest development in Oscar’s protracted move to the Champions League winners, and brings him closer to completing a deal which is rumoured to be worth around £25 million.

The Internacional star is now on duty with the Mano Menezes’ Brazilian Olympic squad, and both club and player will resume negotiations at the end of the tournament.

Oscar confirmed that he met Chelsea’s doctors, but said that he has not agreed a deal yet.

“I only had a meeting with the doctor, nothing else. I didn't sign any contract yet and I will wait until the end of the Olympic games to decide my future.

"All Brazilian players have this dream. I have, like everybody the dream to play in Europe and the Premier League."

Oscar has become one of world football’s most promising young talents after showcasing his skills for both club and country. The playmaker justified the vast interest in him last summer, by scoring a hat-trick in the Under-20 World Cup final against Portugal.
