Arsenal midfielder Ryo Miyaichi has revealed how happy he is to see fellow Japan international Shinji Kagawa making the move to England to play with Manchester United.
Kagawa is expected to complete his move from Borussia Dortmund in the coming weeks once he has been able to obtain a work permit and pass his medical with the club.
The attacking midfielder made the move to Europe two years ago and has since gone on to win two German league titles and now move to one of the biggest clubs in European football.
Miyaichi also made the move to England but as a teenager and has since been working his way through the Arsenal academy and last season was sent on-loan to Bolton to gain first team experience.
He is happy to see Kagawa make the move to the Premier League and he believed he can learn a lot from the new United signing.
"It would be great if us Japanese players could bring excitement to the Premier League together. I want to follow his lead. By learning what he is good at, such as playing in small spaces, I would like to become a better player," Miyachi told the Manchester United official website.
While Kagawa has already become an established name in European football, Miyiachi is just starting out his career and will be hoping he can obtain the same level of success as his compatriot.
