Rumoured Arsenal target Alan Dzagoev has admitted that he would consider a move abroad, after being linked with a whole host of clubs following his impressive performances at Euro 2012.
As reported by talkSPORT, the 21 year-old CSKA Moscow attacker has caused a stir at the tournament following his opening game brace against Czech Republic and goal against Poland.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been spotted at the tournament, and is believed to be impressed by the young forward.
When asked about his interest over a move, Dzagoev reportedly said: “Of course, I have the desire to try myself in other clubs in Europe.
“But I'll think about it only after the tournament.”
It looks like he’ll be given that thinking time sooner rather than later, after Russia crashed out of the tournament on head-to-head records, after losing 1-0 to Greece in the final round of fixtures in group A.
Despite starting the tournament so strongly, Russia will be gutted at their early exit.
However, the exit could be a good thing for Arsenal, as the club look to secure a raft of new signings before the start of pre-season.
