Arsenal captain Robin van Persie has hit out at the Gunners defense after the clubs poor start to the new Premier League campaign.
It is Arsenal's worst start to a season in 58 years as the club are fourth from bottom of the Premiership with four points from the opening five games and having conceded 14 goals.
Speaking to the Arsenal website, van Persie said: "It just frustrates me and it is happening too often.
"Every time we start positively we keep making the same mistakes and that is surprising.
"Even before the game on Saturday I said to the boys “today is a big, big day”. We have to get back-to-back wins, and we just cannot do that at the moment.
"That is our aim for the next couple of games, we have to win them after each other. There is lots of time left this season."
