Stuart Broad and Ian Bell are both expected to be fit for the start of the first Test against Pakistan on Tuesday following injury concerns in training.
Fast bowler Broad was struck on the foot by a delivery from James Anderson during a nets session on Sunday which caused "heavy bruising", sparking worries he may not be fit for the start of the series.
However, Broad went for a scan and trained on Monday and appeared to show no discomfort.
England captain Andrew Strauss revealed he is "very confident" Broad will be available to play while fellow attack bowler Anderson expects the 25-year-old to be part of the bowling unit.
"It's just part and parcel of cricket," said Anderson. "You do get the odd knock from time to time. Unfortunately, the ball is quite hard - and it was a bad shot. But I think he's fine."
Meanwhile Bell, who has emerged as a crucial member of the batting line-up as England surged to the top of the ICC Test rankings, was also considered a doubt after being struck in the nets.
The batsman will have an X-ray on his left wrist, but the ECB insist it is just as a "precautionary".
