Groves Hoping to Impress in Anderson Rematch

George Groves wants to show that he has greatly improved since the last time he came face to face with Kenny Anderson when the pair meet on Friday 16th March at Wembley Arena.

The British super-middleweight champion was promoting the fight alongside Anderson who gave Groves his toughest test when they met in November 2010.

Groves was sent to the canvas by the Scotsman before recovering to secure a sixth round stoppage, before going on to defeat bitter rival James DeGale and Paul Smith.

The pair both predicted a stoppage victory with Groves admitting that he is expecting another tough nights work at Wembley.

"Anderson is a tough fighter, but I have come on since we last fought and I can't see him going as far as the sixth round this time, he'll go earlier," said Groves.

"I'm expecting a tough fight, I'm not underestimating him and he's going to want to prove that the last time was a mistake. Since then I've beaten DeGale and Smith and I've got to beat Anderson before I move onto the next level."

Anderson's only defeat came at the hands of Groves and the 29-year-old is keen to prove that he does have the skills necessary to cause an upset in the Londoner's home town.
