This month sees the brand new Asics Lethal Charge rugby boot released.
Worn by Scotland and British Lions' Euan Murray, the boot is fully leather, offering the wearer maximum protection on the rugby field.
Despite being a full leather product, it is remarkably light compared to similar boots. It is also very comfortable, providing a nice fit, especially around the sides and across the top of the foot.
Something which Asics have introduced this year is an improved heel. A 10mm heel gradient has been added, which is designed to minimise the risk of injury by shifting body mass forward. This also offers easier acceleration, reducing the strain on lower limbs.
On the bottom of the boot are an extra two studs, on the sole, which offer an increased grip when entering a scrum.
At 75, these boots are great value and are ideal for players searching for lightweight, durable, full leather footwear.
ASICS has combined decades of technological innovation with the best in the game to create the perfect rugby formula; Smarter Boot + Smarter Player = Smarter Rugby. The new Lethal Charge joins the ASICS range of Smarter Boot with the Lethal Tigreor 3 ST and Lethal Testimonial.
