Last week Under Armour and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club unveiled the Club’s new home and away kits for the coming 2012/2013 Season. The new Tottenham Hotspur performance and apparel ranges are Under Armour’s first kit supply agreement with a Barclays Premier League team and represents the brand’s largest team sponsorship to date. The kit launch also marks the start of Under Armour’s five-year collaboration as technical partner to Tottenham Hotspur. The home and away kits are available now on Tottenhamhotspur.com.
Established squad members Michael Dawson, Brad Friedel, and Kyle Wlaker were joined by new Summer signings Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen to unveil the American giant's first dip into the English soccer market.
Tottenham Hotspur new Under Armour kits epitomise the Club’s motto: “To Dare Is To Do”. The all white home kits and classic navy blue away kits integrate the brand’s signature apparel innovations, specifically designed to enhance player performance, with the Club’s distinct heritage and on-pitch accomplishments.

Under Armour has been at the forefront of kit technology across a range of sports and this technology is now being introduced to the Barclays Premier League. Embedded within all of the kits is a disruptive element of Under Armour design and innovation. The base textile of the shirts is fabricated of razor-thin Under Armour HeatGear® stretch woven, capable of keeping the players lighter and drier than their opponents. Both the home and away kit shorts share the same HeatGear® stretch woven. The stretch woven allows complete fluidity of motion for the players’ strike and stride with great stretch performance benefits.
In order to maximise this revolutionary fabric on-pitch, the authentic Tottenham Hotspur range as worn by the players will have a distinct, aggressive look with the shirts cut to Under Armour’s Fitted Fit, close to the body for optimal moisture management, breathability, and performance. A tailored collar and placket brings smartness and timelessness to the home shirt, whilst silver taping in both kits adds elevated design to the shoulders, back-neck, and sleeve. A fully perforated Tottenham Hotspur cockerel design decorates the back panel of the white kit for optimal heat dumping. Built in a classic V-neck style, a laser cut sublimated back panel on the away shirts brings to life inspirational elements of White Hart Lane. Both shirts are equipped with side mesh panel insets to create the ventilation necessary to perform at a world-class level. A ventilated back yoke adds breathability to both the home and away shorts.
The new Under Armour Tottenham Hotspur kit goes on sale at the White Hart Lane megastore from 8am on 13th July and will also be available to purchase at the Club’s White Hart Lane fan day on 14th July.
