Some sportsmen are motivated by greed or ambition. Others by history. Tonight a team will be playing for much more. Tonight a team will play in memory of their dead friends and family members struck down by a tsunami. When the Samoan test rugby union siderun out on to the Millennium Stadium pitch to face Wales they will do so knowing that their beautiful Pacific island remains devastated by a tsunami thatwiped out villages and lives last month, leaving the usually carefree locals in a state of constant fear. Nearly all the players have lost people close to them, while the head coach's home is now a pile of rubble. Fair play to the Welsh Rugby Union who are lending a considerable hand in terms of donations and awareness, but the sporting world can do more, as can all of us. Please make donations to www.redcross.org.uk/donatesection.asp?id=97976.And remember, in light of this, tonight is only a game.
