It's an emotional day today at Welford Road where defending Guinness Premiership champions Leicester take on Bath in the semi-final play-offs with the winner booking themselves a Twickenham final in a fortnight's time. Emotional because Tigers players Sam Vesty, Johne Murphy, Aaron Mauger and especially World Cup hero Ben Kay will be seen for the last time at the famous rugby ground before moving on to new pastures. Yet there is one more player saying his farewells today and I have singled him out because not only is he the only one actually involved in today's fascinating encounter, but also because he is a friend of Sportsvibe's. Take a bow, Lewis Moody. Typically, theman almost certain to captain England in Australia next month, wants no fuss to be made. He and his teammates have an important anddifficult job today against a team that has found a rich vein of form. But I hope when the final whistle is blown, win or lose, Moody allows himselfthe chance to say goodbye to what will be a 24,000 sell-out crowd who, to every man, woman and child, will afford him the standing ovation he so richly deserves. And when I say 24,000 I mean 24,000 because the flanker joins Bath next season! Enjoy the day Lewis and make sure it is one, whatever the result, you will never forget.
