Faldo's Porsche Under Threat By My Golf.

Three time Open champion Nick (or Sir Nick) Faldo ambled over to say hello last weekend at the Paddock Club at Silverstone before making his way up to St Andrews to start another campaign today. The six-time majors winner clearly remembered me from a day I spent at his house in Old Windsor in which he attempted to give me a golf lesson in his back garden. Handing me a 8-iron he asked me to strike a few balls towards his garden wall, some 150 feet away, which also served as a wall to Sir Elton John. Instead I managed to slice a ball ata 90 degree angle, which meant it soared in the direct direction of his prized 1950's Porsche which was parked outside his front door. As three of his other cars were also parked nearly Nick, afterseeing just one shot from me, phoned his house and asked an assistant for help. "Please move all the cars immediately," he ordered. "I have no idea where this guy will send his next ball." Cue franticmanoeuvres in his drive as I sized up my nextshot and Faldo wondered just why he had allowed this idiot on to his grounds.
